Please register DC parents, caregivers, and family members to join the virtual conversation at Quality Trust’s Family Ties of DC (FTDC) Table Talk Advocacy Series to learn ways to advocate with your family member to transition to adult services and supports in the District of Columbia.   This series starts with the first conversation on Tuesday, March 26th from 12:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m., with Jonathan Martinis, Senior Director for Law and Policy, from the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University who will present at the table along with Rhonda White, the parent moderator.  Mr. Martinis will guide you through information and advocacy tips on how to navigate the process within the DC Department on Disability Services (DDS), other DC agencies, and community resources to access adult disability services and supports that your family member need and desire to live their best life. The below topics for this series are based on feedback from parents and caregivers.
