Quality Trust welcomes the support and collaboration of local businesses. This can take several forms.

  • Money to keep utilities going,
  • Equipment like glasses or adaptive equipment
  • Emergency transportation to doctors or hospitals

In-kind items. Quality Trust hosts an annual “Gala” event each year and we have a silent auction as part of the event.  We need in-kind items such as certificates for services, dinner at area restaurants and hotels, limo service, weekend stays at area get-aways, artwork, jewelry and more that help us raise much needed funds for our programs and services.

Sponsorship Opportunities. Quality Trust is a thought leader on a variety of topics in the disability arena and we strive to share this knowledge with the community and professionals so people with disabilities can benefit from best practices being shared widely.   We seek sponsors for our learning events, annual meetings and our fundraising events that serve to inform and educate parents, disability professionals, and engage the community to learn how to partner with and engage with people with disabilities.

Company internal fundraising drives. Company matching gifts for individual contributions – United Way (9339) and Combined Federal Campaign designations (33317) or fairs – opportunities for jobs and internships for one of our members.

Emergency Funds. When an adult or a family has an emergency, Quality Trust supports people on a case by case basis. These crisis can arise at the most challenging times for people and Quality Trust wants to respond quickly! These include:

Family Holiday Celebration Volunteers and Gifts. Thanksgiving and Christmas are a time of need and tradition. Many of families do not have the funds for holiday meals, toys, presents or celebrations. Throughout the year and especially during the holidays, Quality Trust collects funds and non-perishable food to distribute to families.  Some items we need:

  • Store gift cards
  • Fresh canned goods
  • Money for prepared meals
  • Volunteers to distribute meals
  • Winter clothing, gloves, hats and socks
  • Lots of toys for kids – the very young and teens

Your experience and talent in finance, marketing, development, and in-kind contributions are always needed for Quality Trust. For these and other ideas – please email Phyllis Holton, Deputy Director for Outreach and Development or call her at 202-448-1458 (direct).
