Advocates with Disabilities

Quality Trust is strong ally for and partner with people with disabilities. We work hard to ensure they have many opportunities to learn new skills, experience new things and explore new places, people and things to broaden their horizons and help them learn more about what is possible for them with support.

We work closely with Project ACTION!, the District’s self-advocacy coalition to support and train new self-advocates

We coordinate financial training with local financial institutions and attorneys; we offer leadership training, and provide financial support for advocates to attend local and national conferences.  QT staff members also support people to write testimony, to be on training panels for training for attorneys and disability professionals, and we support people to plan and get the necessary tools to follow the plan and achieve their goals.
