Self-Advocates Training
Quality Trust is a membership advocacy organization and we have a commitment to assist people with developmental disabilities find their voice and express their opinions, goals, and aspirations for the future.
We try to develop avenues and opportunities for our members to share their opinions including our Annual Meeting where we devote a portion of the meeting to listening to the members express what is on their mind and what they believe needs to be changes to make progress for them.Quality Trust provides training opportunities for people with disabilities, stipends for participation in training for DDS Service Coordinators, and support to attend local and national advocacy conferences.
Quality Trust's Advocacy Training Specialist offers a series of training including "How to Become a Board Member," "Becoming a Self-Advocate," and health care topics for self-advocates to people with developmental disabilities.
