MARK YOUR CALENDARS:   Community forum for persons with disabilities.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH) are the sponsors of "Opportunities For All", the Mayor's Community Forum for Persons with Disabilities.  The Forum will be held Monday, April 28 at the Kellogg Conference Center on the campus of Gallaudet University, 800 Florida Avenue in northeast Washington DC.   People of all ages who live with disabilities, their families, and care providers will learn about city services that offer short and long-term assistance when needed.  Services represented include employment, energy and medical assistance, income maintenance (TANF and food stamps), rehabilitation, early intervention for infants and toddlers, programs for the aging and elderly, and therapeutic, cultural, and leisure activities.  Free parking is available on Gallaudet's campus.  For additional information call: Linda Grant (DMH) at 202/673-1937 or Lynne Crawford (DHS) at 202/279-6137.
