Training and Support Group For Fathers of Children With Disabilities

Fathers of children who live with disabilities are invited to participate in a six-session training program that considers their unique perspective and concerns.  The training is sponsored by  Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development, and the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.  Fathers will enhance their advocacy skills, and become better able to access information and resources that address the needs of their children and families.  The age of the child(ren) and the type of disability are not important. Sessions begin March 6, 2003 and space is limited.  Call Rosalind German at 202/687-8807 or 202/687-5503 (TTY).  For information in Spanish, call Isabella Lorenzo at 202/687-0606.
