Tina M.
Campanella, Executive Director
Ms.
Campanella has over 28 years experience working with and on
behalf of adults and adolescents with developmental
disabilities. She has run residential and employment
programs, and is knowledgeable about best-practices in
developmental disabilities around the country. Prior to be
selected as the Quality Trust Executive Director in May,
2002, she worked at the Council on Quality and Leadership, a
non profit organization promoting enhanced quality of life
for people with disabilities through training and
accreditation activities throughout the US and abroad.
Vernessa
Broddie, Director, Quality Enhancement Supports
Ms.
Broddie has over 20 years experience working to support
individuals with mental retardation and developmental
disabilities to live full, healthy, and satisfying lives.
She has 15 years experience working at the District’s MRDDA
in various capacities and collaborated with many of the
community providers in support of individuals in the service
delivery system. She hails from South Carolina where she
received her training and work experiences advocating for
the rights of children and adults with disabilities.
Laura
Flegel, Director of Legal Advocacy and Education
Laura
Flegel has been practicing law in Washington, DC for over 21
years focusing on access to health care, disability rights,
and poverty law. She has worked in government, private
practice and the non-profit sector. Before becoming the
Director of Legal Advocacy and Education at the Quality
Trust, Ms. Flegel was the Director of Legal Services at
Whitman-Walker Clinic where she worked for 13 years on a
wide array of civil rights and disability rights issues, ran
a large staff and pro bono based program, trained and
mentored attorneys in DC, Maryland and Virginia and wrote
and spoke on access to health care and HIV/AIDS law issues.
She came to the Quality Trust in April, 2005.
Jenise S.
Ross, Director, Administrative Operations
Jenise
Ross has over 17 years experience in administration of
nonprofit organizations with particular expertise in
financial and human resource management. Before coming to
Quality Trust, she worked as the Administrator for The
Council on Quality and Leadership in Supports for People
with Disabilities (CQL), a non profit organization that
manages a nationally recognized accreditation and quality
enhancement program. Ms. Ross has also been a parent
advocate for her son and enjoys managing internal staff
supports to enable QT staff to focus on obtaining needed
services and supports to enhance the quality of life for
people with disabilities. Ms. Ross joined Quality Trust in
September 2002. |
